The Days of '98 Show and White Pass Summit Tour from Skagway -- A fully narrarated tour of the infamous Klondike Gold Rush takes you across the rugged Coastal Mountains along the Klondike Highway. Your friendly and knowledgable guide will stop several times for you to take photographs of the 'awe inspiring' mountains, valleys, waterfalls and glaciers.

This tour includes the Historic Town Tour, the Gold Rush Cemetery (Skagway's own boot hill) and the scenic Overlook. You will enjoy the fun, song and dance at the Days of '98 Show that depicts the life and times of Soapy Smith - "Alaska's most notorious con man." A professional troup of actors will entertain you as they tell you the story taken from the Skagway historic record. The one hour performance in it's 82nd year of production.

Summary: Pickups are available for this tour from cruise ships, the ferry dock and Skagway hotels. Child age is 4 to 12; under 4 ride free. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-321-3624. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Fun, dance and song depict the legend of Soapy Smith - "Alaska's most nortorious outlaw and con man" Professional toupe of actors will entertain you while portraying the final hours of Soapy's life Jefferson R Smith, AKA 'Soapy Smith', reigned over the town as well as being the leader of the underground world of Skagway

White Pass Summit

Take this opportunity to witness the incredible vistas and to learn about the Klondike Gold Rush. The rugged Coast Mountains begin at sea level and rising to over 3,000 feet in just 14 miles.

Historic Skagway

Our town tour details the rich history and highlights numerous buildings on the National Register. Two gold rush hotels create the home for The Days of '98 Show.

The Overlook

Ride along side of AB Mountain where you will have a panoramic view of the entire town of Skagway along with ships in the harbor.

Gold Rush Cemetery

This stop compliments the Days of '98 Show, you will see the final resting place of Soapy Smith and Frank Reid; along with Skagway's one and only bank robber.

Very Important:
US-Canada Border Crossing Information
~Canada will not allow a U.S. citizen into the country who does not have the proper documentation to return home. Everyone from every country arriving in Canada or the USA by air, land or sea now needs a passport or equivalent travel document. Equivalent travel documents include:
1. NEXUS CARD: A partnership between the Canada and U.S. border services that pre-approves entry for travelers by land, sea or air between Canada and U.S. An added benefit is designated and faster lanes at border crossings and airports. Application process involves interview and fingerprinting. Both U.S. and Canadian citizens apply through U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
2. U.S. PASSPORT CARD: This U.S. Department of State-issued ID is valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel.
3. ENHANCED DRIVER'S LICENSE (EDL): EDLs indicate both citizenship and identity and are valid for entry into Canada by land or sea, though not valid for international air travel. As of January 2009, EDLs were only available in Washington and New York states, but were planned for Vermont as well. See individual state licensing departments for more info.
4. FAST/EXPRES CARD: This U.S. Customs and Border Protection program pre-approves commercial truck drivers for travel between the U.S. and Canada.

Children ages 18 and under are required to present proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate - passports, of course, are also acceptable.
~If one parent is traveling with a minor child without the other parent, they must also have a notarized letter from the absent parent stating approval for the one parent to travel across the US-Canada border with the child.
